Pork Fruit Cake. Sheet I

Yield: This makes 3 - 4x8 inches cakes.

Ingredients

• 1 cup boiling water
• 1½ cups brown sugar
• ½ cup light molasses
• 4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cloves
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1½ cups raisins
• 1½ cups currants
• 1 cup pitted dates, sliced
• 1 cup Citron, chopped
• ⅔ cup Candied Cherries

Directions

1. Sift dry ingredients.
