Molasses Drop Cookie

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup soft shortening
• 2 eggs - Beaten
• 1 cup molasses
• 1 cup warm water
• 7 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon cloves
• 2 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup raisins if desire

Directions

1. Mix = 2 cups sugar, 1 cup soft shortening, 2 eggs - Beaten, 1 cup molasses, 1 cup warm water
2. Sift + add 7 cups flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon cloves, 2 teaspoon soda, 1 teaspoon salt
3. add, mix 1 cup raisins if desire
4. Mix all together and drop by teaspoon on greased Baking sheet in 400° degree oven,
5. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
