Mince Meat Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 egg beaten
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup light B. sugar
• the measured ingredients plus water as an alternative to coffee and unquantified grease for the cookie sheet
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 teas. nutmeg
• 1/2 “ Cinnamon
• 1/2 “ salt
• 1 teas soda
• 1 cup mincemeat
• 1/2 cup nutmeats chopped

Directions

1. Cream egg, shortening, B. sugar together.
2. Add coffee (or water) mix together.
3. Add flour + spices, mincemeat + nuts.
4. Drop on greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 350 for 12 - 15 minutes

Timing

• 12 - 15 minutes

Temperature

• cold coffee; 350°
