Party cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ½ cup sugar
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2¼ cups flour sifted
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1½ cups m&m’s plain

Directions

1. Blend shortening and brown + white sugar in large bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
2. Sift
3. Add dry ingredients, blending well. Stir in ½ cup of candies
4. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased Cookie Sheet; decorate top with remaining candies
5. Bake at 375° 10 minutes or until golden brown.
