Chili-Oodles
Yield: Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- the same quantities and source wording
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup diced green peppers
- 2 tbsp cornstarch or flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups (16 ounce can) tomatoes
Directions
- Brown beef in large skillet. Add onions and garlic, cook and stir until onions are tender.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; add with chili powder, salt, and Worcestershire sauce and green pepper to beef. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup water gradually stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
- Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain well. Serve chili over noodles.
