Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup canned pumpkin; 1/2 cup shortening; 1 T. grated Orange Peel
• 2 cup flour
• 1 tsp. Bake Pow
• 1 tsp Bake Soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup chop nut
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 2 cup powder sugar
• 1-2 Tables milk

Directions

1. mix sugar, pum. org peel shortening. Mix rest except raisin & nut & then all
2. drop by Tsp full ungreased Cookie sheet; Stir sugar & vanilla. [crossed-out text] stir in Milk until smooth.
3. Bake until light brown 8-10 min
4. heat margerine until deep brown
