Harvard Beets

Ingredients

• 3 C sliced cooked beets
• ½ C sugar
• 1 T cornstarch
• ¼ t salt - pepper
• ¼ C water
• ½ C vinegar
• 1 T butter

Directions

1. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt & water + vinegar - Cook till thickened. stir all the time.
2. Add butter + pepper
3. Mix in beets & heat & serve

• Cook till thickened; stir all the time
