Tea Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 cup milk
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 2 cups flours
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

1. Cream sugar and shortening, add milk and eggs, sift flour, baking powder and salt, mix all to-gether, add vanilla. Beat until creamy.
2. Bake in 9 x 12 inch loaf pan about 30 minutes.
