Orange Sour Cream Donuts

Yield: Makes 2 doz. donuts.

Ingredients

• 2 eggs, beaten light
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 cup thick sour cream
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/3 teaspoon soda
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (loose)
• 1/2 teaspoon Salt
• Grated Rind of one orange

Directions

1. Add sugar, sour cream, and milk to eggs And beat thoroughly.
2. Sift dry ingredients together several times and add orange Rind.
3. Stir into egg mixture to make donut batter.
