• ½ cup sugar;
• ½ cup light-brown sugar;
• 2 eggs;
• I tablespoon orange rind;
• ½ cup blanched shredded almonds;
• 2 3/4 cups sifted flour;
• ½ teaspoon soda;
• I teaspoon salt;
