Directions
- With a very sharp knife, cut rye loaf in paper-thin slices
- Place slices in single layer on cookie tins and allow to dry in air or in a 300° oven until crisp and the edges curl.

Temperature
- 300-degree drying option and broiling about 5 inches from heat
Equipment
- very sharp knife, cookie tins, large baking pan or jelly-roll or dripping pan, oven, broiler, and stirring utensil

Arwilda’s note: Changed “brown” to “curl.”. “brown” is crossed out before final readable word “curl.”
