Arwilda’s edits

Arwilda’s note: The original wording is obscured; the final visible text is “both”. “both” inserted above the instruction with a caret between “butter” and “sugars.”

Needs review

Uncertain yield square notation: Handwritten count and size notation is tightly joined; interpreted as counts of 2-inch squares. Candidates: “16 2“ squares; 24 2“ squares”, “16/2“ square; 24/2“ squares”.

Uncertain top-right marginal annotation: Marginal parenthetical word appears to read “Yield,” but lettering is not fully clear. Candidates: “(Yield)”, “(Yeld)”.

Uncertain uncertainties: The annotation reads (Yeld), but its role is not established and it may be a name or source notation rather than a yield label. Candidates: “The annotation reads (Yeld), but its role is not established and it may be a name or source notation rather than a yield label.”.
