Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup seedless raisins
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp. cinn.
• 1 2/3 cup oatmeal
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

1. Wash raisins in hot water & drain.
2. Cream shortening with sugar, add eggs + milk.
3. Combine with oatmeal + raisins and mix well.
4. Add flour sifted with soda salt & cinn.
5. Beat thoroughly.
6. Drop on greased pan & bake about 12 min. in moderate oven (350°F)
