Oatmeal Cookies — Raisin Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. cinn.
- 1 2/3 cup oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Wash raisins in hot water & drain.
- Cream shortening with sugar, add eggs + milk.
- Combine with oatmeal + raisins and mix well.
- Add flour sifted with soda salt & cinn.
- Beat thoroughly.
- Drop on greased pan & bake about 12 min. in moderate oven (350°F)
Timing: about 12 min.
Temperature: hot water; moderate oven (350°F)
Equipment: washing and draining equipment, mixing vessel and creaming utensil, sifter, measuring tools, dropping utensil, greased pan, and oven
