BAKED TOMATOES IN MUSTARD SAUCE

Ingredients

• 6 tomatoes
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 3 tbsp. prepared mustard
• 1 tbsp. milk
• 1 tbsp. capers
• pinch salt
• bread crumbs and butter are also used in the method

Directions

1. Halve tomatoes and place in buttered baking dish.
2. Salt rather heavily.
3. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over tomatoes.
4. Cover with bread crumbs.
5. Bake at 350° for 40 min.

• 40 min.

• Bake at 350°; sauce is also excellent heated
