Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 3 Teaspoon Baking Powder
• 2 Tablespoon sugar
• 6 Tablespoon Shortening, with ditto marks repeating Tablespoon from the line above
• ½ Teaspoon Salt
• ¾ cup Milk
• 3 pts. Strawberries
• 1 cup sugar

Directions

1. Crust.
2. Mix + sift dry ingredients, cut Shortening. Add milk, a small amount at a Time, mix well. Bake in 8 in. tins
