Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

2 cups flour
3 Teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Tablespoon sugar
6 Tablespoon Shortening, with ditto marks repeating Tablespoon from the line above
½ Teaspoon Salt
¾ cup Milk
3 pts. Strawberries
1 cup sugar

Directions

Crust.
Mix + sift dry ingredients, cut Shortening. Add milk, a small amount at a Time, mix well. Bake in 8 in. tins

Equipment: sifter, mixing vessel and utensil, cutting-in utensil, 8 in. tins, oven

Fruit for top.
