Cherry Walnut Squares

Yield: Made 12
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda; 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts.
Directions
- Stir well
- add ½ cup sifted all-purpose flour
- Bake at 350° for 18 min.
- Can put in 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
Timing: 18 min.
Temperature: 350°
Equipment: greased muffin tins or an 8 by 8 by 2-inch baking pan, plus a mixing utensil and oven
