Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
- ¼ C butter
- 1 C br sugar
- 1 egg
- ⅔ C sifted flour
- 1 t baking powder
- ½ t salt
- ½ t vanilla
- ½ C nuts
Directions
- Melt over low heat; Stir in till blended
- Remove from heat
- cool
- Stir in
- Sift together & stir
- Stir in
- Spread in well greased & floured sq. pan 8 x 8 x 2"
- Bake 20 to 25 min. 350°
- Cut while warm
Timing: 20 to 25 min.
Temperature: low heat, remove from heat, cool, bake at 350 degrees, and cut while warm
Equipment: heating vessel, stirring utensil, sifter, well-greased and floured 8 by 8 by 2-inch square pan, oven, and cutting utensil
