Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
- 2 T fat
- 1 C chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic
- 1 C chopped green pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 1/2 C canned tomatoes
- 1 1/2 t Chili powder
- 1 No 2. can Kidney beans
- 1 1/2 t salt
Directions
- melt fat in pan
- saute onion & garlic
- add pepper beef
- brown 10 min.
- add rest ing. cook 1 hr.
Timing: 10 min.; 1 hr.
Temperature: melt; saute; brown
Equipment: chopping tools; pan; stirring utensil; can opener
