Ingredients
- ½ C dates
- 1 t soda
- ⅓ C water boiling
- ⅓ C butter
- 1 C b sugar; 2 t Cream tartar; Vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 ¾ C flour
- salt
Directions
- Sprinkle dates c-bar soda, add water let stand till cool.
- Cream butter add sugar, egg - then date mixture
- sift dry ing. & add. vanilla & salt.
- 10 min 350°
Timing: 10 min
Temperature: water boiling; till cool; 350°
Equipment: mixing bowl; sifter; stirring utensil; baking sheet; oven
