Dry-vermouth Southern Comfort Manhattan variation

Ingredients

  • the three listed ingredients, plus cracked ice and a cherry inherited through the instruction to mix as an ordinary Manhattan
  • 1 jigger (1½ oz) Southern Comfort
  • Dash of Angostura bitters (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix the same as a ordinary Manhattan, whose visible method says to stir with cracked ice until thoroughly chilled, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve with cherry.

Timing: until thoroughly chilled

Temperature: cracked ice; thoroughly chilled

Equipment: jigger or ounce measure, mixing glass, stirring utensil, cracked ice, strainer, cocktail glass, and cherry-garnishing tool
