Plum Pudding

Ingredients
- 2½ cups stale bread crumbs;
- ½ cup milk;
- typed capital I used for numeral 1 in each quantity
- ½ cup sugar;
- ½ cup molasses;
- 2 eggs;
- 1/2 cup citrin
- ½ cup chopped nut meats;
- ½ teaspoon soda;
Directions
- Mix all to-gether well, Put in round cans,
- (the same card wording with typographical errors)
- Steam 3 hours, cool slightly and remove from the cans.
- Good with hard sauce or whipped cream on it.
Timing: 3 hours
Temperature: Steam 3 hours; cool slightly
Equipment: mixing bowl and utensil; washed and dried round cans; covered steaming vessel and rack; cooling surface; unmolding and serving utensils

- 1/2 cup milk; 1/2 cup molasses; 1/2 cup Citron
- 1 cup beef suet, ground fine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nut meats
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teas. soda
- 1 teas. Baking powder
- 1 teas. salt
- 1/3 cup fruit juice
Directions
- Mix all-together well, Put in round can, Steam 3 hrs, cool slightly and remove from the can.
Timing: Steam 3 hrs
Temperature: Steam 3 hrs, cool slightly
