Ingredients
- ½ C butter
- 1 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 T evaporated milk
- ½ t vanilla
- ½ t salt
- 2 t b. powder
- 1¾ C sifted flour
Directions
- cut c̄ cookie cutter to desired shapes. sprinkle c̄ sugar.
- Beat in 1 egg, 2 T evaporated milk, ½ t vanilla
- sift together + add ½ t salt, 2 t b. powder, 1¾ C sifted flour
- Chill well roll out 1/4" thick
Timing: 10 min.
Temperature: 375°
Equipment: mixing and creaming utensil, sifter, rolling pin, cookie cutter, baking sheet, and oven
