- Sift 2 C flour
- 1 2/3 C sugar
- 2 1/2 t baking powder
- 3/4 t salt
- Drop in 1/2 C spry
- Add 2/3 of 1 C less 2 T milk
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 2 eggs
Directions
- Beat 200 Strokes
- Add 2 eggs
- Beat 200 Strokes
- Bake in 2 - 8" pans
- 25 - 35 mins at 375°
- Sift 2 C flour with the following dry ingredients; Drop in 1/2 C spry; Add milk and vanilla; then beat, add eggs, beat, and bake.
Timing: Beat 200 Strokes; Beat 200 Strokes; 25 - 35 mins
Temperature: 375°
Equipment: sifter, mixing vessel and beating utensil, 2 - 8" pans, oven
