Bottles of Hell

Chop peppers in a food processor or grind in a food grinder with fine Blade. Add Ketchup and Vinegar with Hot peppers, mix and simmer to thickness you want. I do mind in a oven at 250° degree for about 3 to 4 hours, stirring often. Or can use a Crock Pot for smaller amounts. Can and Hot Water Bath and process for 10 mins.

Bread Pudding

mix well applies to bread crumbs through butter; add applies to the indented vanilla and raisins lines add: Bake at 350° 35 to 40 min

Butter scotch Pie

Mix sugar, cornstarch & salt in 1 1/2 qt sauce pan. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute. Stir at least half of the hot mixture into eggs. Drain syrup off every morning for 3 mornings Heat to Boiling and pour back on pickles. On 4TH morning put into jars and process for 10 minutes.

Crystal Pickles

Slice and soak 25 or more cucumbers all sizes, in brine of 2 cups canning salt to 7 1/2 qts of Warm Water. Put in Crock (or use glass gallon jars) and cover for 14 days. Wash the pickles about 3 times in Cold Water, add about 1 tablespoon Alum to gallon jar. Pour cold Water to Cover. Let stand 1 day. Next day rinse 3 times in cold Water. Bring to boil and pour over pickles. Weight them down and let stand. On 4th day Heat syrup and pickles and pack in jars and seal. I process them for 10 min.

Green or Yellow Pickle Beans

Cook until tender

Green or Yellow Wax Pickle Bean.

Cook beans until [done crossed out] or tender., with later alternatives 'or use Raw' and 'or just Blanch for 3 min' or use Raw or just Blanch for 3 min Pack in jars and put syrup on them. Cold pack for 10 or 15 minutes.

Green Tomato Mince meat.

Grind tomatoes, cover with clear hot water, about 5 to 10 minutes. Drain but not dry. Put apples and all spices, sugar and rest of ingredients together and boil. Put in tomatoes boil stirring so as not to burn. Boil about 15 min. Put into jars and cold pack about 10 minutes.

Mix all together. Don't beat eggs to much as makes to much air. Bake in bread loaf pan ½ full. Grind the celery and onion.

Lightly beat yolks. In Pot Combine sugar, corn starch and salt. Stir in 1 2/3 cups water until smooth. Over medium high heat, cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, 5 minutes. Gradually Beat 1 cup hot sugar mixture into yolks; stir mixture Back into pot. Bring to Boil stirring constantly, cook 1-2 min. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, Butter & Zest. Pour into crust set aside.

Meringue for Lemon Pie

At medium speed mix whites with cream of Tarter.; At high speed beat in Vanilla and sugar Beat until soft peaks form. Spread meringue over filling, sealing it to crust. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on rack. Refrigerate before serving.

Cream sugars and Butters Add eggs mix well. Add flour, Baking soda & salt mix well, shape in to balls. Roll in sugar. Press criss-cross with Fork. press lightly. Bake at 350° degree oven for 10-12 minutes I use a #40 scoop. for 12 min. It depends on your oven.

Peanut Butter No Bake
